Now isn’t that a shocker?

The man with 6 rings, the guy behind the growth of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, as well as the guru behind the triangle offense, may be coaching again. However, there is a catch to Phil Jackson coaching again. Phil would only coach New York Knicks home games. ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne reported on Monday, Jackson could split games on the Knicks bench with interim head coach Kurt Rambis during the 2016-17 campaign.

Now the fact that this is even a conversation is scary, if the Knicks hit big in free agency I do believe Phil will coach home games next year. The Knick’s performance on the court is forcing his hand. The Knicks have a superstar in Carmelo Anthony and I am sure with Phil Jackson coaching him he will develop more as a player, as well as a leader for the team. ESPN speaks on the sense of urgency that now had Phil considering to coach the time part time.
