Things aren’t going as planned for the New York Knicks.
As they head into a MLK Day showdown with the Atlanta Hawks, the Knicks are fresh off another distrubing loss. Today, the Knicks were defeated by the Totonto Raptors 116-111. In a game where the Knicks were down 30 at one point, it looked like the team was lost. Four days earlier, the Knicks suffered one of their most devestating losses of the season loosing to the Philedelphia 76ers on a buzzer beater. Over the past few years the progress of the Knicks have been on everyone’s radar. Brining in NBA guru Phil Jackson as the team President has everyone watching their steps closely.
Now with the NBA trade deadline approaching the question is will Mello still be a Knick when that day hits. There have been several rumors going around that he will only waive his no trade clause to go to the Clippers or Cavs. Some folks are saying Mello isn’t think trade. Frank Isola a sports jounralist tweeted out earlier that Carmello thinks him and Phil should talk.
