The Warriors were on an amazing 54 game home win streak.
Then they played the Boston Celtics, many felt Boston would be in a rebuilding phase. But, with a solid 44-32 record and sitting at the 6th playoff spot, as well as a lottery pick things couldn’t be better for the Celtics. Then last night it got better as they helped make the Warriors road to 73 harder.
The game was a tight one and wasn’t a blowout. But it seems like the Warriors lost their grip in the 2nd quarter when the Celtics won the quarter and headed into the half with a 2 point lead. In the 2nd half, it was a series of back and forth between the two teams.
The Celtics has solid play from several players Evan Turner who had 21 points with 5 assists, Jared Sullinger had a double-double 20 points along with 12 rebounds, Avery Bradley dropped 15 points and Isiah Thomas scored 22 points. The Warriors had 4 players in double figures but it just wasn’t enough as the Celtics took home the 109-106 win.
