The W Hotel franchise has just announced a game changer!

For years hotels have made adjustments to keep up with today’s digital age to make booking easy for guests. Hotels have even managed to keep up with the sneaker world, adding concierge sneaker service to the amenities list in selected hotels. Now, W Hotels Worldwide takes hospitality a step further, by now adding a recording studio suite.

For recording artists, DJs, and producers this is huge. Artists have been known to have studio’s built on their buses to be able to record while being on the go. Thanks to W Hotel’s now all they have to do is stay at the luxury hotel and record from there. Now this isn’t only for artists but, any guest who would love to be a recording artist for a night will have that luxury.

W Hotels Worldwide part of Marriott International, in partnership with Coca-Cola, yesterday unveiled the first W Sound Suite to launch in North America at W Seattle. The private music studio will also include a writer’s room and lounge to give the studio a relaxing feel for the artists. Anthony Ingham the Global Brand Leader for W Hotels Worldwide said “As one of the most iconic music capitals in the world, I couldn’t think of a more ideal location for our first W Sound Suite in North America than W Seattle,”.

For all of you artists out there or music heads W Hotels went through the proper procedure in making sure the Sound Suite lives up to recording artists standards, with help from their own North American Music Director DJ White Shadow. Shadow is known for his work with Lady GaGa, Pitbull, and The Black Eyed Peas. Having someone who is well known put together the suite makes it all more personal for the artist/guest.

“Musicians are constantly on the road, where it’s difficult to find an accessible, professional-quality space to record,” says DJ White Shadow. The Sound Suite is the first of it’s kind and will open up a new brand of clientele for W Hotels all over the world as Sound Suite’s expands. The equipment used is top of the line, Komplete 11), a state-of-the-art control keyboard (Komplete Kontrol S-Series), the cutting edge groove production system used by hip-hop producers around the globe (Maschine) and an all-in-one DJ system (Traktor Kontrol S8). W Hotels also worked with world-renowned audio company, Shure, to provide new SHR440 headphones, X2u microphones, KSM32/SL microphone condensers and BETA®181 microphone for the ultimate recording experience.

The General Manager of the W of Seattle Richard Hill was quoted saying, “We are excited to present local and visiting artists alike with a space to write, record and relax in the heart of downtown, steps away from legendary concert halls like Benaroya Hall and the Triple Door, where world-renowned artists perform and inspire.” Not only do the artists get to record in an amazing atmosphere they don’t ever have to worry about being thirsty while recording, thanks to Coca-Cola.

Coca-Cola has used music to tell its brand story for over a century, bringing its campaigns into the pop culture lexicon. The Studio Suite has a cool Coca-Cola fridge filled with Coke’s and Coca-Cola red accents in the suite. As well as, a mural by the Ames Brothers with subtle Coca-Cola references. The Sound Suite is designed for you to work hard and play hard, so why not?
