 Rihanna Navy the Queen has given the world another Rihanna Collaboration.

This time, the singer has announced another project that’s on its way via Instagram. She unveiled a new collaboration of sunglasses with Dior. This will be the second time the two paired up. Last year RiRi was featured in a campaign with the luxurious fashion line and created history. She made history by being named the first black woman to sign a deal with the company, and now she is making history again by being the first brand ambassador to design their own product with Dior. 

She unveiled the latest project by posting a picture of herself stepping out of a truck, wearing the metallic silver gladiator like sunglasses and captioning the photo:
  “When you rock the PHUCK out yo own shit!!!!”

The collection name for the futuristic sun wear is called “Rihanna.” The flat top style sunglasses will be available in five different colors, such as silver, pink, blue, green, and red. The new collection will also include a limited edition pair of plated, 24-karat gold frames. 



This is a great look for Dior to link back up with the talented artist as she was named the most marketable celebrity of 2015. Not only that, Rihanna has plenty experience in design and fashion at this point. The bad gal RiRi is killing the industry right now with her collab with Puma, Stance and recent shoe collaboration with Manolo Blahnik. There’s no doubt that she won’t deliver greatness teaming up with Dior again. 


Eyewear designer for Dior, Mathieu Jasmin, tells sources that this was his first time working with a celebrity on the craft. He goes on to say that she chose all the materials. Mr. Jasmin states, “We had a lot of different samples with different effect of metals. She chose all the lenses and took time to match all the colors together to see if it was right on her face. It was really important to her.”


Reports also state that Rihanna was excited to work with Dior on this project, the singer tells WWD, “I’ve always been obsessed with his eyewear, and when I got to Dior and saw all the materials I could play with, it all just came together.”


The “Rihanna” sunglasses will be available exclusively at Dior stores by early next month. The shades will retail for $840, and with the gold-plated style going for $1,950.
