Commonly known for it’s Asian cuisine, great Indian food can also be found in Flushing.
Dosa Hutt, located a 10-15 minute walk from the Main Street 7 stop is a no-frills spot that’s opened a second location due to popularity. Nothing on the menu is over $10, I’d recommend going with a group and sharing multiple dishes. I’d recommend the masala dosa a classic dish filled with potato, curry and veggies that was flavorful and not too spicy. All dishes are served with sambar which was a delicious soup like dip that can be eaten alone.
If you’re really looking to explore, check out the temple next door which also has delicious Indian food in it’s basement. Thanks to Dialectable for sharing this gem with me!
