Jordan was cooking up and if you saw some of DJ Khaled’s snaps last week you seen these upcoming beauties.

Everyone knows the influence Michigan’s Fab Five has on the culture of Basketball as a whole in the 90’s. Decades later their influence continues with the Jordan Brand unveiling an Air Jordan 5 inspired by The Fab Five. The design of this shoe was lead by the legendary sneaker designer Tinker Hatfield. The inside of each tongue displays special nods to the nostalgic team with “Hail To” and “The Victors” stitched respectively on the left and right tongues.  The “M” logo is placed right on the outside of the lounge of the shoe, representing Michigan University.

Now for some bad news, the Air Jordan 5 “Fab Five” will not be available for retail. If you lucky you may be able to snag a pair on Ebay. Tinker designed this shoe strictly as a gift to the friends and family of Jordan Brand. Hopefully the Jordan Brand will find it in their hearts to release a few in limited numbers.
