When I visited San Juan, Puerto Rico years ago, nothing stands out more than my venture to Old San Juan.
It was so beautiful. Not the “yea, it was cool” beautiful. It was the type of beauty that made me stare, take second glances and wonder if there was any other place like this on earth. It was breathtaking, memorable and I recall it each time anyone mentions Puerto Rico. The pictures I’d seen before arriving did Old San Juan no justice. From white sands to clear water and the San Cristobal statue to cobblestone walkways, the restaurants and hotels are another accessory to the beautiful scenery.
El Cervantes Hotel is a boutique hotel located in Old San Juan, known for its exceptional service and authentic décor. It’s one thing to be named one of the Best Hotels in Puerto Rico by Conde Nast. But, this travel destination has also hosted get-a-ways for Benecio Del Toro and Michael Bolton. One of the fun facts of this property is that the presidential suites have private elevator key access. This element makes the presidential suites, at El Cervantes Hotel, one of the most elegant within the entire Caribbean.
If you’re looking for a romantic excursion, wanting to enjoy a glass of wine while stopping at the Old San Juan port amidst your cruise or looking for a place to rest your bones while you tour the El Yunque Rain Forest- El Cervantes Hotel is an attraction worth the visit.
