The partnership between Nike and OHSU Doernbecher began in 2004. The idea was for young patients that had severe health issues to design one-of-a-kind shoes, with proceeds to benefit the hospital.  Patients have been selected to create one of kind pieces that speak to their character and individuality using the silhouettes of classics nike shoes. In 2014 we see the Air Jordan Retro 8 ‘Doernbecher” in a blue nubuck color way that sports hits of 3M on the upper that resemble stars when light reflects off and a icy clear sole with a unique design underneath. Stay tuned for further updates on this release.
