Last night I had the opportunity to attend a special event called Token 38 at Refinery Hotel in NYC thrown by Packer Shoes X Sneakersnstuff, a special All-Star weekend collab featuring some reebok classics. Some of the items on display for this upcoming pop up were from brands such as Reebok, Mitchell & Ness, Stance, Jason Markk and Shopify. Packers X Sneakersnstuff teamed up to bring us some really cool pieces that play into the NBA All-Star week festivities.

The “NYC” Reebok Pump Fury by Sneakersnstuff draws its inspiration from the classic royal blue, orange and white colors that have been the official team colors of the New York Knicks’ basketball franchise. The “NYC” Pump Fury features a tiered orange-white-royal blue color-blocked upper with identical color application applied to the mesh toebox and tongue, royal blue premium nubuck heel counter with “SNS” white-stitched branded which also adorns the tongue all set on top of an stark white midsole. Additional features include a “Token 38” Instapump unit on the tongue and “Token 38” branded insoles. Each pair of “NYC” Reebok Pump Fury by SNS come with complimentary “Token 38” co-branded Stance no-show socks.

The Reebok Question Mid by Packer Shoes pays homage to the many spectacular performances displayed by Allen Iverson when visiting the hardwood court of the worlds most famous arena – Madison Square Garden – and the black, purple and blue colors that adorn it’s interior. The “MSG” Question mid is constructed using a black premium pigskin upper throughout the entire upper, set on top of stealth grey with white speckled midsole and royal blue tintedclear rubber outsole. The purple and royal colors of the MSG accent the rear ankle “Question” logo, “All-Star” stitched front lace stay and Reebok Vector logo on the tongue and 3M reflective patch on the side. Additional highlights can be found on the shoelace eyelets with “R-E-E-B-O-K” positioned on the lateral side and “P-A-C-K-E-R” on the medial, as well as Packer branded insoles.

This iteration of the Reebok Question Mid by Stockholm’s Sneakersnstuff continues where their previous “A Shoe About Nothing” and “Crocus” editions left off. Borrowing the light aqua of the “ASAN” and fusing it with the luxurious purple of the “Crocus”, we are presented with a flower of a shoe that can attract any “hornet” fan when in full bloom. The “A Shoe About Crocus” Question mid is constructed using a premium pigskin suede upper in light aqua and purple throughout the entire upper set on top of a stark white midsole with light aqua honeycomb hexalite cushioning. The same light aqua pantone adorns the rear ankle Question logo branding and side Reebok Vector logos while the tongue features a contrasting black stitched SNS branding. Addition features included black “Token 38” branded insoles to finish the look. Each pair of the “A Shoes About Crocus” Question Mid come with complimentary light aqua & purple “Token 38” co-branded Stance socks

With Brooklyn and Manhattan sharing dual residency for this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend in NYC, it was only right to represent for both boroughs. While the “NYC” Pump Fury reps for the Knicks, the “Brooklyn” Reebok Kamikaze II by Sneakersnstuff pays homage to the classic black and white uniforms worn by the Brooklyn Nets. The “Brooklyn” Kamikaze II embodies the current transition of the borough and classic BK catch phrase “went from ashy to classy” with a full black 3M reflective constructed upper with 3M metallic silver wave panel which sits on top of a sharp white midsole and outsole. The “Token 38” logo adorns the rear ankle while white Reebok branding sits prominently on the front lateral toe panel with SNS branding on the tongue. Rounding out the look are “Token 38” branded Ortholite insoles. Optional black shoelaces are included. Each pair of the “Brooklyn” Kamikaze II come with complimentary black & white “Token 38” co-branded Stance socks

An alternate take on the previous “Official Friend of the Program” Reebok Shaq Attaq, “The Neon” draws it’s inspiration from the character played by Shaquille O’neal in his acting debut. For this interpretation, the “Azure” accent color used on the original 1992 Shaq Attaq model and made it the main color application throughout. The upper features a premium pigskin suede, combined with black nubuck overlays, mesh tongue and ankle panel, and 3M reflective silver vector logo on the side panel all sitting on top of an azure blue midsole with white outsole combo. Additional highlights include a newly planted “Token 38” stitched patch underneath the tongue, a pigskin suede “Official Friend of the Program” hangtag and Cash Money image sublimated Ortholite insoles. Each pair of “The Neon” Shaq Attaq come with complimentary “Token 38” co-branded “Shaquille O’neal NBA Draft Lottery” Stance Socks
