In a recent interview, the self-proclaimed “King of the South” announced that he plans to only release about 2 or 3 more albums.
Since his debut, he’s released 9 full-length studio albums, including I’m Serious, Trap Muzik, Urban Legend, T.I. vs. T.I.P, Paper Trail, King, Paperwork, No Mercy, and Us or Else. At 36, he feels that it is time to move on from making music, or at least albums. So far, he has already picked out the titles of his upcoming final projects, Trap Music, Dope Boy Meets Girl, and Kill the King.
But are we really ready to see the King go? Maybe he’ll “retire” like Jay-Z and leave the scene for a minute and make a great comeback. Only time will tell, but we wish T.I. much success in all of his future endeavors.
