Are you an aspiring artist or producer looking to break into the music industry but don’t know where to start? If you’re going to be in the Atlanta area November 18th, this event is a perfect way to get informed, engage and network with industry professionals.
Since the release of their latest album Killa City For A Reason, Urban Republic has been quite busy promoting their music and looking for ways to give back to the community. The Hip-Hop duo, recently joined forces with PopEd, the premier source for practical courses, and MotownNext to bring us The Keys to Da Streets Music Industry Meetup. Special guests include, Craig King, Radar Live, D.L. Warfield, ShayStar and Tasha Parker, with music provided by DJ Blakmagic, and a special performance by Urban Republic.
The group is looking for about 60 aspiring artists interested in promoting their artistry and gaining a better understanding of how the industry works. Keys to Da Streets is much more than just a panel discussion and a performance. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to network and work alongside industry professionals to develop a business canvas model geared toward their business and brand.
This free event will take place on Saturday November 18th from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm at the Dakoro Art Gallery located at 227 Sandy Springs Place, Suite 522 in Atlanta, GA 30328. Check out the flyer and link below for more information about the event and to sign up.
